Terms and conditions

1. Who you're contracting with

SIAS Technologies Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15054772. Contact: concierge@chatuniversity.co.uk. In these terms, "we" and "us" means that company.

2. What the service is

Independent guidance and information to help you make your own decisions during UCAS Clearing. It comprises: a written plan of clearing options, verified institution contact details, a phone script, an agreed decision framework, a 30-minute pre-results call where booked before the stated cutoff, support by text and email during the stated hours on results day and the following weekend, and a written follow-up.

3. Guidance only — no guarantee of outcome

We do not guarantee that you will receive an offer, a place, or any particular outcome. We have no influence over admissions decisions, which are made solely by institutions. Information about course availability and entry requirements changes rapidly during Clearing and we cannot warrant that it is complete or current at the moment you act on it. Nothing we provide is a recommendation you are obliged to follow.

4. You own every decision

All decisions — which institutions to contact, which offers to accept or decline, and what to enter in UCAS — are made by the student and their parent or guardian. We do not contact institutions or UCAS on your behalf and cannot act for you.

5. Delivery and timings

Bookings made before 18:00 on Wednesday 12 August 2026 include a 30-minute call before results day, subject to mutually agreed scheduling. Bookings after that time include the written plan within 3 hours but no pre-results call.

On Thursday 13 August we are contactable by text and email between 07:30 and 20:00 and aim to respond within one hour. Between Friday 14 and Sunday 16 August we respond within a few hours during normal working hours. Calls take place where, in our judgement, a decision requires one.

6. Who can buy

The contract holder must be 18 or over and the parent or guardian of the student. Where the student is under 18, the parent or guardian must be present on any call and included in all correspondence.

7. Cancellation

You have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.

Because you have expressly requested that we begin immediately and acknowledged the consequence — "I request that Chat University begins providing this service immediately, before the end of the 14-day cancellation period. I understand that once the service has been fully performed, I will lose my right to cancel." — you lose the right to cancel once the service has been fully performed. If you cancel after we have begun but before full performance, you will be charged in proportion to the service already provided.

8. Refunds

Where we fail to deliver the service as described in clause 5, we will refund in full. We do not refund on the basis of admissions outcomes, which are outside our control (see clause 3).

9. Outcome write-up

As a condition of the price, we ask for a short written outcome summary and a testimonial after results day. This is stated before purchase and forms part of what you agree to when booking. We will agree with you what, if anything, is published and in what form.

10. Limitation of liability

Our total liability is limited to the fee paid. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

11. Your data

We process personal data to deliver the service. We do not share your data with institutions or third parties without your consent. See our privacy notice for detail.

12. Independence

We receive no commission, referral fee, or payment of any kind from any university or college. Recommendations reflect our own judgement only.
